SHIPPING & RETURNS
Boats and other large deliveries will be shipped from Vajda or Double Dutch to our company address in London and can be picked up from Lee Valley Whitewater Course. These delivery charges to the UK are included in the price of boats/paddles. Delivery of such items to other areas must be discussed with the company directly. We can post smaller items to addresses in the UK, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. A surplus shipping cost for postage within the UK may be applied.
In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt. If we receive no such notification, the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company’s appointed carrier. Liability in such cases is limited to the value of those items that were not received by the customer.
Delivery times of boats depend on a variety of factors including time of order placement, how complicated the design is and how busy the Vajda factory is. We endeavour to have boats delivered to the UK within 6-12 weeks of order placement.
Return & Exchange Policy
If an item that you have purchased is no longer wanted or you wish to exchange an item, Northborn will exchange or refund the cost, if appropriate, if it is returned to us within 14 days of you having received the goods. Exchange of goods, or refund, will be made by us within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Refunds will be made by bank transfer. On return, all goods must be in a new and unused condition and must be accompanied by a copy of the original receipt. Custom-made items such as boats, paddles and personalised helmets are non-refundable unless found faulty.
The cost of return of items to Northborn will be borne by the customer unless the item was sent in error or was faulty. If an item is found to be faulty, please contact us directly by email or telephone to discuss the issue. It should then be sent back in its original packaging and by recorded delivery, where possible. Items that are faulty will either be exchanged or a full refund provided. Return of such items and the cost of that return must be discussed with Northborn before sending.
